Pleasant Pads -- body friendly, bio friendly, budget friendly
Pleasant Pads all have a top layer of 100% unbleached, undyed, organic linen. Under that are several layers of 100% cotton flannel and terry cloth. On the bottom is another layer of cotton flannel, which effectively helps keep the pad from slipping around.
Regular Pleasant Pads do not compromise with a layer of PUL (polyurethane laminate) for waterproofing, as do some cloth menstrual pads. PUL is not needed with the layers of terry and flannel, and it is not worth it to have plastic and chemicals added back in. The wings will help keep it in place.
All Pleasant Pads snaps are plastic, so there is no need to worry for those of you who are allergic to metal.
Due to the FDA ruling that cloth menstrual pads are "medical devices," we are no longer selling Pleasant Pads for human use. Pleasant Pads are now for poodles only.
