100% Organic Linen Sheets (Off White ONLY)

A set of  linen sheets cocoons your body in the finest health-benefiting luxury. In Japanese hospitals, linen sheets have been used to prevent bedsores. In the US, individuals have reported remarkable reductions in chronic pain and are experiencing deeper sleep from sleeping on high-quality 100% linen sheets.
Linen is an extraordinary fabric that is grown from the flax plant -- a natural fiber.  The  breathability, absorbency, and comfort of linen makes it an excellent choice for putting next to your skin.  Unlike cotton which holds water, linen is very effective at absorbing moisture and wicking it away from the body.  This is very important for any material worn next to or touching the skin.  Both GOTS and Oeko-Tex standards prohibit a long list of toxic chemicals including azo-dyes, heavy metals, and pesticides (among others) in their production.  Refer to our FAQ page for more specifics.

Notes for Ordering:

• Each sheet has one flat felled seam that runs down the center lengthwise. This is nearly unnoticeable when the sheets are on the bed. For twin sheets, the seams run along the sides of the mattress (not on the sleeping surface) and are serged on the fitted sheet. Our Spartan Twin sheets (see below) do not have any seams.
• Our sheets fit extra deep mattresses up to 16" (except for Spartan Twin, see below).
• Bed set does not include linen pillowcases; order them separately.
• The organic white fabric is very soft initially!  We recommend washing in cold water and line drying for longevity.
• The OEKO-TEX fabric is a stiffer fabric than what we have previously offered.  Less softening of the fabric lends itself to more longevity.  Therefore, we have chosen to keep the fabric slightly stiffer with the thought that it will last longer.
• The OEKO-TEX Periwinkle fabric is a very soft and a 6 oz linen while the limewash is a 5.3 oz linen.  You will love the feel, color, and drape of this fabric!

Choosing the twin set that is best for you:
Our "Spartan" Twin set is a way to save $70 (white/natural) - $80 (OEKO-TEX colors) and get the same health benefits on your single bed. The difference between the Spartan Twin sheets and the Regular Twin sheets is that the Spartan sheets are finished by the selvage of the fabric rather than by a hem. The elastic is not encased on the fitted sheet. And the sheet reaches to the bottom edge of the mattress, but does not tuck under at all. Functionally, these affordable sheets live up well to their purpose, though they are not as visually elegant and finished as our regular twin sheets. Spartan is not recommended for mattress depths greater than 8".
